for our music video, Randy wrote the lyric and also found the song. then, he took it to the class and showed us. after that, we started filming based on the lyric.
yeah, I enjoyed making the music video more than the past videos because it's easier for me.
the most difficult part of filming is creation.
our leader was Cooper. He did well.
I think Randy has been the best leader. He was very creative and made the filming go more smoothly.

the history class is interesting, at least I don't have to memorize all the things in the book like what I did in my country. in this class, I know more things about American history [ of course :D]. I feel like history is a subject that I learn for my knowledge, not like I'm forced to learn arid timelines.
for some people, film making is exciting. for me, it's kind of. I don't mean that it's bad. in fact, it enhances the lessons.

for the writing assignment, I think it helped me learn more about the French and Indian war because I had to read more facts about the war on the Internet. for me, what the writing assignment helped was equal to making film. however, the writing assignment was harder. every student had to work individually and know to how to add to facts into the assignment =.=
until now, I still couldn't image how the last film would be. do we have to create a song ??? I would rather be able to choose the genre of music.

after reading the article, I found that the last part [ what's in a name ? ] was an interesting thing. it tells us some things that we usually get confused.
ohm.... I think I'd rather choose a blog entry with 600 words. it seems easier for me to type rather than to write.
my Thanksgiving just passed :... I didn't have any plan.... My host parents and I went to Do's house for the feast. I think the people living during the 1700s did the same as me :D : ate and spent time with family ^_^

throughout all of the sections we have cover in Chapter 5, I think section 5 is the most interesting one. history of scientists, poets, musicians, etc. always attracts me.
out of the movies that I saw, the movie of Edwin's group impressed me the most. it's so creative !!
oh, I don't think there was something in the movie that helped me answer test questions. I got the answers from your lecture and notes on the board.
Randy told me about our last film before. when I heard that, even though I couldn't image how it would be, I still believed it's a great idea !!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so curious about the contents of the last film .

I personally think that filmmaking has become easier a little bit. I'm not good at acting, so I still get problems with creating new ideas and acting _ _!!. in fact, the videos haven't enhanced the lecture much because they're based on the book. however, making films made us read the book more carefully and feel more interested in history.
for this film, I was the leader but I didn't do very well. most of the ideas came from Randy.
oh, I think for the last film, Cooper can be the leader because he hasn't been the leader of our group. for now, I don't have any idea for the last film, just hope it become the best film we'll have made :D

about the test, I think it's kind of easy. the contents of the test are all in the packet and study guide. I didn't need the word bank much. however, I didn't do well with the map because I hadn't reviewed it.
our group's topic for filming is Middle Passage.
for the last question,did you mean the plot was based on history or random ? if it's random, I'd like to have a film about teenagers and music [genre : comedy :D].

Connecticut was established in 1636. in 1639, Thomas Hooker helped drafted the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut.
I couldn't have lived like the Puritans/ Pilgrims in New England. their lifestyle are out-of-date. I couldn't let my parents choose the marriage partner for me.
I look forward to filming again. however, I still didn't read the book~~> I can't choose a topic now.

did you mean that 10 was the highest ? if it's the highest point, I will give the pp 9. most of my notes are from the pp, but sometimes the pp doesn't have enough info.
this week,I was absent for 3 days. I had to take the test on Wednesday and then I was sick for 2 days left [I don't know how to call that test's name :]. on 2 days at class, I learned much about the Americans' colonies , but nothing really attracted me.
If I could have been apart of any country's team of explorers, I wouldn't choose France's team. it's just because I like France.
in fact, my group is still the same. if my group had a change, I would try to have a positive reaction with my new group.

If I was to give our film a rating, I would give 7 ! it's funny and the background music really fit with it.
I think making the film during the lecture help us enhance the lecture. it also makes us feel more interested in history.
now I don't have any idea for other subjects. I believe that our subject is ok for us.
one thing I remember from the lecture...uhmmmm.....maybe it's the Inca empire. I don't know why but those words came into my mind first. perhaps I like its architecture and terrain.

for me,it's kind of difficult to think of an idea to creatively express history.
I think that I worked well with all my group, but Randy was the one that I did the best.
for the previous film, Randy was the leader of my group. He did very well ! most of the ideas came from him.
sometimes, we were in the rush, but finally, we were done. I think that we had enough time.
my character in the film was Clava [ I don't remember how to type the name >.< ]- one of the survivors that reached to present-day Texas. If I had more time, I would read the book more carefully and think more about what to put in the film.

I must confess that I don't remember much about your lecture =.=!!!! however, one thing that I remember was the video clip of Magellan's voyage. it's so cute and funny ! because of that clip, I can memorize the voyage of Magellan more easily:)
of course I'm looking forward to making a historical film for the next section. I'm reading the book and I try to think about what our group will do in this film.
If I could add one more person to my group, I would ask you to choose for me or I would choose that person randomly. I want to try collaborating with everyone, as long as they're responsible for the film.

before coming here, I heard a lot from my friends that History was a tough subject for Vietnamese students. however, when I first studied at this class, I really liked it. it's not as hard as I thought and the teacher + friends are very nice ~^.^~.

as an exchange student,I want to learn interesting stories about American history so that when I come back to Vietnam, I can share with the people there :)

I'm not good at English and it's hard for me to remember lots of information in another language _ _!!! however, for me,I think the biggest obstacle in class is understanding what the teacher and video clips talk about. I got the problem with the quizzes because I didn't understand the lecture >.<
